Logistics: the pain in the ass problem of getting stuff from point A to point B... So, with all these wonderful new ground units, we started to realize we need realistic ways to transport these machines from planet to planet, and from ship to ground. We wanted the dropships to be realistic in function, able to accommodate the needed units and yet be able to fit inside of the space ships. Our first attempt (http://www.moddb.com/mods/yuuzhan-vong-at-war/images/ltc-1#imagebox) looked good, but just did not work for carrying other types of units. This required a redesign. Heavily armored, slow moving, with enough room inside to carry a Khetanna-class war barge. Model Design: Kharcov and Burntstrobe

The Canderous-class Siege Tank Developed in secret during the rise of the Consortium for Tyber Zann, the Canderous was originally developed to break through Imperial and Rebel fortress defenses. The secret trade agreement of producing the Canderous proved very lucrative for Mandalore, allowing future technological upgrades and designs such as the Annihilator and Sweeper tanks. The Canderous is not necessarily a tank, as it was designed to be more of a seige unit. Speeds were grossly exaggerated by the Consortium forces to spread fear in to the hearts of the enmey, for the Canderous was actually a relatively slow moving repulsor craft. Its armor was as thick as an ATAT however, and armed with two rapid firing Mass Driver auto cannons proved devastating against any ground structure or slow moving aerial unit thanks to some very sophisticated targeting systems (upgrade from Tyber's version). The Candrous also featured a special ability to barrage an are area with its dual front pylon mounted concussion missile batteries. 2 new models donated to the Vong Project: 1st we have the C-3 Passenger Liner created by Wolf_2.0. The C-3 was a medium sized evacuation ship used to quickly transport citizens from space stations by means of modular passenger tubes that could easily be assembled onto the C-3's rotating ring. The Ring and pods were designed to rotate to always give passengers a clear view of the splendors of space... or the horrors that now ravage it. Originally placed in production at Fondor with the intended purposes of supplementing the Fondor capital shipyards as a mobile construction bay, the barge was purchased outright by the Hutts after the Centerpoint disaster and a loss of faith in the NR protection promises occurred amongst the Fondorian government, which no doubt was influenced by the Besadii Hutt presence that currently lived on Fondor. Rechristened the "Azalus MKII Project", efforts were conducted in secret to arm the barge and concert it from a mobile hanger bay to a warship. Aided by the fact that the armaments were supplied by the Hutts directly, conversion of the vessel into a warship happened at an incredible speed and the ship was quietly escorted and delivered to Hutt space during the midst of he confusion and chaos brought upon by advancing Vong forces. The Azalus MKII is a massive star dreadnought, slightly longer than the Viscount yet still much shorter than the Executor-Class. Armed with a strong array of heavy turbolasers, missile launchers, and mass drivers, the vessel quickly transformed into leviathan of a warship. Stong armor, weak shields and slow speeds leave the ship for more defensive roles, while its massive ventral hanger bay area allow for massive deployment of fighter craft and passive repair of nearby capital ships. The Azalus was envisioned by the Hutts as the centerpiece of their secretly developing fleet to spearhead an invasion into NR territory, but turned out to be their savor as it housed all of the ruling Kajidics after the Vong doublecross and destruction of Nal Hutta. Placed into development initially by the Givin as an asteroid field mining station, the Hutts 'persuaded' to have its design altered to include a massive Disruptor cannon, with batteries of missile launchers instead of the refining modules. Already constructed with light shields and heavy armor, missile launch systems were inserted into the horizontal wings near the hanger, heavy blasters, quad AA cannons and heavy quad ions were equipped to fend off smaller ships, while the massive internal ore processors were replaced with energy generators to power the cannon. This thing EATS SSDs. not as powerful as the Eclipse or Deathstar, but 4-5 blasts from the cannon are enough tear through any dreadnought hull. Despite being an ancient construct, the Planechanga was built of a very simplistic design, allowing it to function throughout the ages. Strong armor and light shields allow the Planechanga to move into an astroid field. Various tractor beam emitters position and hold asteroids in place while the entire station rotates around the asteroid field much like a massive turret. The center ring assemble creates a massive electromagnetic charge which is used to power repulsor generators and fire asteroids through the rail launcher assembly. Ironically named due the corruptness of the Duros Navy, Samaritans were employed to patrol Duros Space and acted as micro ports for fighter squadrons. With 2 launch bays and a forward external repair deck, the Samaritan could passively repair nearby fighters while its strong tractor beams aided in search and rescue, or the far more common and corrupt pirating and seizure practices. The ship was slow moving, armed with 7 medium dual blaster cannons, 5 dual light blaster cannons and concussion missile launchers located in recessed firing positions around the hull and rear flanks of the ship. Sturdy armor and shielding allowed these ships to put up a decent fight, easily able to overtake most frigates of the same size. Model Design: Burntstrobe (kitbash from Warb_Null parts)

Developed by the Mandalorians as a heavy systems patrol ship, the Persecutor is a strong armored slower moving ship that is slightly larger than a standard Corvette, yet not large enough to be considered a Frigate. Heavy reinforced armor and light shields allows for the ship to sustain heavy fire, a benefit which allows the Persecutor to attack much larger captial ships with its twin fixed ventral mounted mass drivers. Foreseeing the spreading corruption and inevitable failure of the New Republic, the Mandalorian Empire initiated a secret project, using the last reserves of their precious Beskar ore, to develop a new prototype fleet. This proto-fleet would encompass the most sophistocated weaponry available to Mandalor, and would be planned to be used not only a defensive shield for the planet, but a mobile base of operations in case tragedy might befall their planet. After first discovering the Vong invasion force before the battle of Helska, the Mandalorians rushed preparations to stock the ships, and safely hide them amid the asteroid fields of planet Gargon, where they could remain hidden and safe due to the heavy Beskar armor ship hulls.
