MC80B - Mon Adapyne Class

Named after the ship itself, the 2nd class of MC80B, the Mon Adapyne Class, was engineered to be more effective fighting in the middle of heavy battles. Notable differences are the additional gun gun blisters located on the sides of the ships with the forward armaments being reduced, the replacement of the 3 heavy ion cannons with 3 triple barrel heavy long range turbolaser turrets, and the removal of the 2 rear facing wing heavy turbo laser turrets that appear on the Mon Remonda line. The ship features 8 squadrons of fighters and has the special abilities of "power to shields" and "increase firepower" making it a deadly opponent in the midst of a large fleet battle.
