Grutchin Torpedo

So, this is the idea for the Grutchin Torpedo. With its rather massive size for a torpedo (corvette-cruiser sized), this weapon can be fired by only the largest vessels of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet. The tip is covered by a membrane resistant to energy weapons so it safely detonates first after the contact with a capital ship´s hull releasing acid which devours a hole into enemy armor, followed by the impact of the torpedo rocky remains. And finally the crash opens the shells carrying zounds of Grutchins or Turfhoppers which form a deadly cloud, eating everything in their range... Design exclusively by Burntstrobe, model shaped by me.
