Commanded by Arien Yage, the Widowmaker was a modified Nebulon B communications frigate. Modified for extended patrols of deepspace, the Widowmaker featured a second shield generator mounted in front of the forward antennae array on the port side of the bridge, the standard bridge replaced with a second pylon of crew quarters and sensor array, an additional forward fixed Heavy Turbolaser mounted in the top pylon, 2 additional gun bunkers on the forward flank armor plates to allow for an additional 2 dual light laser turrets and a rear communications bridge mounted to the top of the engine assembly to allow for sensor pings.
Yage also has the special ability of calling upon a Chiss reinforcement fleet to come to her aid in the midst of combat.
