Constable - Class Corvette

Developed initially for planetary defense fleets, but ironically ending up more in the hands of Pirate organizations and smugglers, the Constable was a heavily armored corvette with a strong armament for such a small size. Slower than a DP20, but just as heavily armored, the Constable featured 2 dual medium tubolaser turrets, 2 AA imperial grade blaster turrets, a rear facing ventral bow mounted dual light laser turret and 2 wing mounted concussion missile launchers. The Constable also featured a strong sensor array that was capable of detecting stealth ships. Found along the Outter Rim in such places as Smuggler's Run, the Constable was a common corvette raiding trade routes.
