Assault Frigate MK1

A legend from the Civil War, devised out of struggling times when there desperately was a need for heavy warships, Assault Frigate MK1 was the mainstay warrior at the birth of the New Republic. Heavily modified from the surplus of Rendili Dreadnaughts found around the galaxy, the AFMK1 stripped away large sections of the protective armor and attached on modifications that allowed for slave circuitry, enhanced targeting and additional shield power. The AFMK1 features twice the amount of weapons of the normal Rendili frigate, but at the cost of 1/2 the armor. To compensate, the AFMK1 was given 2 additional shield generators and more powerful engines allowing to evade targets and withstand ion blasts.
