SV-103 Class Artillery Barge

The SV-103 was designed for defense of the Sluis Van Shipyards. A slow moving utility frigate converted into an armored battle platform, the 103 lumbers through space dishing out devastating long range blows to incoming enemies. Armed with 12 long range dual heavy laser turrets, 6 long range dual medium turbolasers, and 6 dual medium turbolaser turrets and 2 forward fixed heavy torpedo launchers, the 103 can fend of most incoming capital ships before they can enter within firing range. Heavily armored and shielded, yet severely sacrificing speed and fighter protection, the 103s are always a reassuring sight when entering the Sluis Van orbital repair yards.
